The City of Sidney, Iowa is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Employee. Experience in general maintenance, minor reports, operation of lawncare equipment, heavy equipment, dump truck, loader and skid steer are desired. This position includes all aspects of a municipal public works department, including but not limited to, water and sewer operations, snow plowing, mowing and maintenance of city facilities. Willing to train right candidate. Must possess high school diploma or GED. Post offer physical, drug/background screens required. Some weekends/ holidays required.  Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.  A generous benefits package includes IPERS retirement, life insurance, health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave and paid holidays.  A full job description is available upon request.
