The City of Sidney is now accepting Letters of Interest from any persons interested in filling the vacant Councilperson position, finishing the term which is at the end of this year.  This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has contemplated becoming a public official to get involved for a trial period.  Letters may be handed in or mailed to City Hall at PO Box 335, 604 Clay Street, Sidney, IA  51652.  Letters may also be emailed to [email protected].  Please have Letters of Interest to City Hall by May 22, 2025.  Appointment will be made at the Council Meeting on May 27, 2025.
